The Project
A complete custom crib dock near Huntsville, decked in TimberTech Prime+ in Sea Salt Grey. The build was coordinated with the landscaping team throughout, so the dock, the granite steps, and the shoreline patio read as one continuous space rather than separate projects.
The Challenge
A crib dock carries its weight on timber cribs, and this one needed serious load capacity without sitting tall out of the water. Working alongside engineers, we designed cribs strong enough for the loads while keeping their height to a minimum, holding the deck low and close to the waterline.
The Solution
The engineered crib design delivered the capacity in a lower profile, keeping the dock visually quiet against the shoreline. With the landscapers involved through the build, the transition from patio to dock finished seamless, and the granite shoreline flows straight onto the decking.
